Refurbished and re-opened in September 2006, ‘The Herne’ offers the unique blend of a traditional country pub in a London Setting.

Situated only a short walk away from Peckham Rye park, The Herne is the perfect place for the family to stop off for lunch or dinner. The building is entirely non-smoking and at the rear is a beautiful and secure, landscaped garden with a play area for the children.

The interior balances the warmth from the oak panelled walls and original wooden floors with an airy feel created by the abundance of natural light and the neutrally painted sections.

Lunch and dinner are served every day and our Head Chef, David Fegan uses organic and free-range produce to create a blend of traditional English dishes and modern British cuisine. A healthy, home-made children’s menu is available.
